This years newcomer competition the Belgian band Skeptical Minds won. Against the habit of the previous years the winner did not have to start this years edition but was allowed as fifth band of the day to play even some more as the previous ones.
Although the band line-up is with a cellist somhow unusual and singer Karolina Pacan is not 100% fit from health point of view (what you could not really see and hear from her stage performance) the mixture of industrial-electro and guitar riffs knew to convince. Besides that the band had chosen for this very special day to release their new album "Skepticalized".
It was a really convincing performance that was even more enhanced by the Apocalyptica cover band Arkancelli supporting them during the song "Broken Dolls" and the following Motörhead cover version of "Ace Of Spades" (although it took a little bit long until all were sitting on the plastic chairs). In each case a band of which its development should be observed.
