Out of unknown reasons the band Bare Infinity had canceled their gig on Metal Female Voices Fest VIII. Shorthanded Unsun stepped in as they were anyhow currently touring with the later that evening playing band Tristania. The Polish band around front woman Aya and guitarist Mauser were already part of last year's edition.
At their current gig the songs of their recent album "Clinic For Dolls" were played. With that they somehow left the rock area and are now more on the gothic metal side. Musically in each case an improvement to last year. Of show point of view you could say that Aya is now making more use of the stage and is way more present. Unfortunately her co-musicians are more on the static side and did not leave their places in any way. Also Aya's weak voice is still a minus point.
In my opinion it was a significant improvement compared to the year before, not an outstanding gig but quite nice to watch and listen.
