Slowly we were heading for the two headliners of the day and just like the year before it was also this year the German band Krypteria who joined this festival. The stage setting seemed to be familiar but luckily Ji-In Cho did not again appear on stage in a wedding dress and also guitarist Christoph Siemons was in a better shape from health point of view.
Just as familiar as the stage setting was also the show which was derived mainly from the album "My Fatal Kiss" and had only few changes compared to the year before. That does not necessarily mean that this is bad but although the music is nothing special Krypteria knows how to display the fireworks on stage. On the one hand there is a band formed by Chris Siemons on guitar, Frank Stumvoll on bass as well as S.C. Kuschnerus on drums that were brimming over with enthusiasm and again and again encouraged the crowd. On the other hand there is Ji-In nearly blowing from energy swirling all the time across the stage and also convincing vocally. So it was no surprise that the venue for the first time of the day started boiling. I have to say that I was as pleased as of the show played last year and I can only recommend everyone to go to a Krypteria concert!
Towards the end of the show Ji-In announced additionally that they are currently working on their new album and it will be released beginning 2011.
