Towards 19:30 the guys of Insomnium entered the stage and opened the evening with "The Primeval Dark" of their recently released CD "Shadows Of The Dying Sun". With their epic melodic death metal they tried to enthuse the audience for them what was more or less successful (the 013 was not yet completely filled). Due to the recent release of their new album songs of it were dominating the setlist. In total six of the overall eight songs were of it. During them the growled parts were changing nicely with the clear sung ones of the two singer Ville Friman and Niilo Sevänen. Unfortunately the crowd did not follow them very well and only in the first few rows some movement could be detected. That is really a pitty as the guys of Insomnium would have deserved more attention. By that this gig ended quite unspectacular with the fading sounds of "The Promethean Song" and the stage was cleared for the upcoming show of the band Epica.
