Actually, I would have liked to see the American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch last year on Forta Rock Festival at Nijmegen but unfortunately, they had to cancel their show short-timed. So it was until this year to have this premiere.
The five guys around front man Ivan Moody were quite keen on the audience that accepted their mixture of heavy metal and alternative rock very well. The number of fans which could be identified by their appropriate shirts very well and were singing all of the songs along loudly was quite high. They played nearly only songs of the current double album “Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell”. But that did not matter as the atmosphere was excellent.
Nice and varying songs made the gig very entertaining. All band members were showing how much fun they had but also how impressed they were playing on such a huge festival in front of so many people. Because of me they could have played for a longer period of time but after nearly one hour they had to come to an end.
